Writing apprehension and writing skills on English department students: A correlational design

چکیده
By two different types of instruments—a questionnaire to determine students' writing apprehension and a test using descriptive texts decide skills—this study investigated the correlation between skills. This used quantitative correlational research, English department served as study's target population. Additionally, researchers employed cluster sampling design, which can choose representative sample represent To conduct analysis, chose one class sample, thirty-five students from third semester were chosen sample. According researchers, skills shown be negatively correlated, who concluded that was r = -0.642. The inverse indicates did not perform good on tests more frequently they worry about writing. it inferred there is strong their level apprehension.
